he ensures that in conjunction with his internationally renowned
drumming skills, equally in focus is an entertaining experience
with hands-on audience participation. A student of Californian
Arthur Hull the 'founding father' of the drum circle movement
worldwide, Georg draws on his highly developed facilitation
skills and invites each member of the audience to not only
be a spectator, but become an active participant in using
our natural 'instruments' - hands, voice and... spirit.
Georg has performed to thousands of people
around the world and holds a Licentiate in Music Performance
gained with Distinction from Trinity College, London. An award
winning musician, author and presenter, his first motivational
work 'Rhythm of the Head' is endorsed by performers from globally
famous acts such as Genesis, Emerson Lake and Palmer and Yes.
He was a founding member of 80's chart topping
South African act e'Void and recorded drums and percussion
for the stage show aired at the 2004 World Parks Summit attended
by former South African Presidents Thabo Mbeki and Nelson
Mandela.
Other achievements include: founder and Editor
of a nationally distributed South African music magazine,
co-founder and organiser of a musical events company and operating
a team building events organisation in the UK. Some of the
companies/organisations he has worked with include Cell
C, Hammersmith Health Authority and Thames Motor Yacht
Club.
