In 2004 Georg (together with Lynne Voros) co-founded South Africa’s first and only magazine for drummers and percussionists. He is however not involved with this publication anymore due to selling it in 2007.

The OUTREACH drum clinic tour

Sponsored by Mapex and Sabian, Georg is the first drummer in South Africa to undertake a 6 date drum clinic tour of the country in 2009. Superceded by the 7 date PUSHING BOUNDARIES clinic tour in 2010.

Rockschool (Trinity College, London)

Georg was the first drummer in the world to attain this then newly introduced Licentiate qualification (LRSL) in Music Performance which he passed with Distinction. He also holds a Licentiate from the same institution in Music Teaching gained with Distinction.
